Arsenal’s Champions League hope hangs by a thread after yet another drubbing at the last-16 stage as they were thrashed 5-1 by Bayern Munich at the Allianz Arena.
Arsene Wenger’s men, who have been eliminated in the last-16 stage of the competition in each of the last six seasons, twice by Bayern, gave one of their worst performances of this season as the German champions ran riot. Arjen Robben scored the opener with a screamer from 25-yards out before Alexis Sanchez scored the equaliser. Robert Lewandowski and Granit Xhaka missed chances to fire their team ahead as the first half ended on 1-1.
However, the game totally changed after the break as the home team scored thrice inside 10 minutes to deliver a huge blow to Arsenal’s Champions League aspirations. Lewandowski, who had spurred several chances in the first-half, found the back of the net eight minutes after the restart when he jumped the highest in the box to guide Philipp Lahm’s cross into the far corner. Three minutes later, Thiago extended Bayern’s lead after finishing off a brilliant move. The hosts kept on piling the pressure and soon had their fourth goal when Thiago’s effort from the edge of the box deflected off Xhaka, sent the ball past David Ospina. Thomas Mueller capped off the brilliant night for his team after scoring two minutes from regulation time.

Dear fans of other clubs,
You don't need to troll us. We're already trolling ourselves. That's how bad it's gotten.

Actually starting to feel sorry for @Alexis_Sanchez being stuck at @Arsenal. A player that good shouldn't be at a club like that

I want Allegri in. I want more passionate and mentally strong players signed. I want Arsenal to compete again. I'm bored.
