Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich have officially roped in Brazilian midfielder Douglas Costa from Ukranian Premier League side Shakhtar Donetsk. The transfer fee is reportedly agreed around €30m.
Costa was a part of the the Brazil side which took part in the Copa America 2015. Costa came on as a substitute in two games. He scored one goal in the opening match for the Selecao against Peru in the dying moments to confirm his team’s three points.
Douglas joined Shakhtar Donetsk in 2010. The 25-year-old attacking midfielder has played 196 games for the the Ukranian side and scored 36 goals in total. He has played a total of 9 matches for his national team.
