Bayern open to move for out-of-favor Manchester United midfielder

Manchester United have an exciting project in their hand with top class European football minds accumulating at Old Trafford this season for the club.

The new manager, Jose Mourinho has bought in a number of new players in order to strengthen the squad and is set to leave a number of players away from the club to shape the squad.

One such player who is disrespectfully asked to moved out of the club is German legend Bastian Schweinsteiger.

Arguably one of the best midfielders in the current time, Schweinsteiger moved to Manchester United from Bayern under Louis van Gaal last summer but was not able to cement a place in the starting XI due to constant injuries.

He was also not able to impress the manager in the small number of outings he got but that being his debut season in England, it was understandable.

His performances in the EUROs showed that he still has a lot left to offer but it was revealed earlier this week that Mourinho has asked him to search for a potential club to make the move and has asked him to train with the club’s junior squad.

He is reportedly banished from the team dressing room and is all but out of the club and it is now understood that a number of clubs are ready to make a move for him this summer.

The midfielder, who turned 32 on Monday is expected to be in excess at Old Trafford, especially if the world record transfer of Paul Pogba is completed, and is now linked with a move back to Bayern Munich.

Philip Lahm, his close colleague in Germany recently revealed that Bayern are ready to have him back in the team after his failed stint at Old Trafford.

“It’s important to bind players who deserve it to the club,” Bayern captain Philipp Lahm told Sport Bild.

“Basti knows everyone and everything here, he would be predestined to work in the team,” he added.

The 32-year old has also quit international football to offer more at club level and it is now understood that Bayern are not the only club interested in signing him.

Italian outfits Inter Milan and AC Milan are also reportedly looking to sign Schweinsteiger this summer but it is expected that the veteran midfielder will move back to Germany before the start of the next season.

However, it will be interesting to see if he moves to Italy in search of a new adventure. Do you think Untied should keep hold of Basti this summer?
