European power-house Bayern Muncih have their sights on Liverpool’s young sensation Raheem Sterling if the latest reports are to be believed. The 20-year old winger is currently unhappy with Liverpool’s new offer on his contract extension which made Bayern get interested in him.
Bayern Munich currently have Ribery and Robben as their wingers. Both the wing wizards are over 30 and the German giants need to find a possible replacements once the two legends retire or step away from the club.
Robben and Ribery have been in fine form despite being over 30 and Bayern have Muller as a back up for one of the wingers. Muller, however is a very good player up front rather than at wing which made Guardiola to start him as a centre midfielder throughout this season.
Bayern wants to find a long term replacement for the wingers and Sterling will be the right choice to sign. He is currently under contract with the Reds until June 2017 and several weeks ago Liverpool reportedly approached him with a contract extension that would have elevated his salary to the range of £100k per week.
The winger have already captured the interest of Manchester City and Chelsea and reports are suggesting that he will leave Liverpool if they won’t make it to Champions League. Bayern Munich will need to sign the winger if they are ready to pay hefty fee and a crucial football action for the youngster.
