Belgium is one of the the potential powerhosues in world football. Many touted them as their potential dark horse in FIFA World Cup 2014. They did not quite lived up to the expectations but for the next generation, they can be favourites in any International tournament, not just a dark horse. Belgium currently has stars like Eden Hazard, Kevin De Bruyne, Vincent Kompany, Romelu Lukku, Toby Alderweireld, Jan Vertonghen, Radja Nainggolan etc.
The captain Eden Hazard is one of the biggest names in world football right now. With his gifted flair,technique and dribbling ability, he is currently the best dribbler in Europe according to stats. There are midfielders like Dembele, Fellaini, Nainggolan, Axel Witsel. Hazard, Dries Mertens, De Bruyne, Kevin Mirallas provide quality in attacking midfield. He is considered as one of the brightest young prospects in world football. He has won the individual award for Belgian Talent of the Year: 2014. He is the son of former Kenyan professional footballer Mike Origi and cousin of Kenyan international footballer Arnold Origi. The 20 years old can play as a striker and also as a winger. 5> Zakaria Bakkali– Zakaria Bakkali is another player with huge potential. He is most famous for becoming the youngest Eridivisie player of all-time to score a hat-trick, at the age of 17 years and 196 days. The 19 years old is currently at PSV. Featuring in youth levels for Belgium,he also featured once for the senior team. The little player hs gifted technique and insane speed. He is compared to his fellow Belgian Eden Hazard for the similarities they share. He can be a part of Belgium’s bright future also.
