Bellerin and Welbeck To Start: This Arsenal Lineup Can Destroy Hull City!

Premier League Matchday 25; Saturday, 11th February; Emirates, London; KO: 12:30 pm BST (6:00 pm IST)

A defeat at the Stamford Bridge, an embarrassing one at that, in the hands of Chelsea, has now seen Arsene Wenger’s Arsenal lose some important ground in the Premier League points table as they now dropped to the 4th place, 12 points off their rivals. They will quickly have to get back to winning ways but will surely find it difficult this weekend, even at home, against a Hull City side that has taken 4 points from the last three games against Chelsea, Manchester United and Liverpool. Marco Silva has made the Tigers a force to reckon with and the Gunners will have to be at their best to take all three points from this game and consolidate their place in the points table. Wenger is expected to go with his strongest side and here is the predicted lineup he might field for this game:

Team News:

The manager will still be without the services of Santi Cazorla, Aaron Ramsey and Yaya Sanogo who are all injured. Midfielder Granit Xhaka remains suspended and will be the only other player missing this game as Spanish full-back Hector Bellerin, who limped away in the previous game, is also declared fit. Midfielder Mohamed Elneny is also back with the club after international duties at the AFCON and is expected to start this game.

Expected lineup (4-2-3-1):

Petr Cech:

The first choice shot-stopper for Arsenal, Cech, had a nightmare at the Bridge last weekend and will hope to have a simpler game this time around.

Hector Bellerin:

Though is still to be assessed right before the game, Bellerin, is expected to be fit and should star this tie against Hull

Laurent Koscielny:

After being embarrassed by Chelsea, Koscielny, will hope to put in a strong performance this weekend to get back his confidence.

Shkodran Mustafi:

The German defender was torn apart by the Chelsea attack in the previous game but he is the first choice center back and should start alongside Mustafi in this game.

Nacho Monreal:

Put in a decent performance against the Blues and will hope to have a similar night at the Emirates this weekend.

Francis Coquelin:

Though has a persistent hamstring niggle, Coquelin should be risked in this game, in the absence of key players for Arsenal.

Mohamed Elneny:

Just back from the AFCON, Elneny, should partner Coquelin in the midfield for this game against the Tigers.

Theo Walcott:

The winger had a day to forget against the Blues and he will hope to get back to winning ways in this tie against Silva’s side.

Mesut Ozil:

The German is badly out of form at the moment and Arsenal will need him to be at his best to take all three points from this game.

Alexis Sanchez:

The top goal scorer for Arsenal this season, Sanchez, is one of the first names on the team sheet for Wenger and should start this tie.

Danny Welbeck:

The English international has already announced himself after coming back from an injury and Wenger will hope that he can find some blistering form this weekend.
