Ben Chilwell signs new deal as Klopp identifies a new left-back within the squad 1

Jurgen Klopp has been a busy man this summer as he looks high and dry in the transfer window to add players to his squad in positions that were weak last season.

The fans of the club are desperate for a new signing in the left-back position where Alberto Moreno, the Spaniard, has left a lot desired in the last two seasons with the club.

The manager has looked at a number of alternatives but seemed to have his eyes set on Leicester City’s Ben Chilwell.

However, reports today have crashed Liverpool hopes of landing the young full-back as it is revealed that the 19-year old has now agreed on a new contract with the Premier League champions.

The England national Ben Chilwell is one of the most exciting prospects in the domestic scene in the country and has shown great potential for the future.

Last season, he was on loan at Huddersfield where he made 8 appearances in the left side of the defense and is now attracting interests from a number of clubs in the country.

The England international is a versatile player who can play in many positions but moving him to a left-back position long before the end of the transfer window shows that Klopp does not have a left-back purchase in mind at least till the start of the season.
