Manchester City have signed Erling Haaland and Julian Alvarez to strengthen their attack, while letting Raheem Sterling leave. The English champions are now ready to let Bernardo go after extending Riyad Mahrez’s contract extension.
Pep Guardiola too is anticipating Silva’s departure if a proper bid arrives. Amidst his exit rumours, the Portuguese himself has come out and spoken up about his future.
While talking to Sky Sports in an interview Bernardo said, “I’m not sure I think. What’s really important is that I’m preparing my season as well as possible and for as long as I play for Man City.
“I will always give my best; my relationship with the fans and the club is fantastic, and I will always respect that.”

As evident, the midfielder himself is unknown of whether he will continue with City next season. Moreover, PSG and Manchester City are plotting a swap deal between Neymar and Bernardo Silva according to multiple reports.
PSG are fed up of Neymar’s antics at the club, while Pep Guardiola has already admitted he is a fan of the Brazilian. The two clubs, as a result are trying to engineer a give-and-take move for Neymar and Bernardo.
However, PSG are not the only ones interested in signing Bernardo Silva. Spanish giants Barcelona are reportedly leading the race to land the Portuguese after holding talks with hi agents.
The Catalans are now trying to make space for Silva by selling the deadwood of the club. A battle could hence ensue between PSG and Barcelona for Bernardo Silva in the coming weeks.
