Manchester United skipper Wayne Rooney is having a hard time right now. The England international has been heavily criticised for his dismal performances so far.
United started the season with three wins on the trot but their season is now looking into all kinds of trouble after they lost three consecutive games. Disappointed with the performance, the United faithful have asked Jose Mourinho to drop under-performing Rooney. It all started when he performed poorly in the 2-1 defeat to Manchester City. Still, in search of his first goal, Rooney managed to complete just 79% of his passes in the Manchester derby.
The derby also made headlines for another reason. Rooney pushed Pep Guardiola on the sidelines in a bid to restart the game quickly. The City manager cheekily put the ball behind his back and it did not go down well with Rooney, whose team was trailing by 1-0.

And now the striker has been caught stamping on Guardiola’s foot. The incident went unnoticed during the game but now United fans have bizarrely urged to ban their star. While it is still not clear that whether it was intentional or not but it has given the fans an opportunity to voice their displeasure against the striker.

Fans of other clubs also demanded some action against the United player.
he plays for MANCHESTER UNITED! Needed to see the TV replays/headlines if it was Diego COSTA.

The media constantly protect their favourites. If that'd been Coquelin for example they would've slaughtered him!
