Blow For Arsenal As CSL Clubs Come Calling For Star Player Who Is Yet To Sign A Contract Extension At The Emirates 1

Arsene Wenger will not be a happy man as his Arsenal side have just not been able to find any kind of consistency in their game since the turn of the year.

The manager spent decent money on his squad at the start of the season and has been able to use these players well but he will not really be happy with the way his team as performed as a whole in recent times.

Though the squad has been hit by a few injuries, there is a lot that is not going right at the Emirates and this news will only make it worse.

Wenger, who has been busy this season trying to tie his players to long-term contracts, has not been able to get all his players to put pen to paper.

First team duo Alexis Sanchez and Mesut Ozil are both integral to the plans of the manager and Wenger wants them to sign new deals at the club before the end of the season.

But it now looks like neither will as the Chilean is extensively linked with PSG and Real Madrid while Mesut Ozil has found a new taker in China.

The German playmaker is among the best players in his position in Europe at the moment and has also been integral to the plans of his national side.

However, he has not been in great form recently and has been struggling in front of goal for Arsenal, one of the few reasons why they have not been able to stitch a winning run.

He has less than 18 months left on his contract and though Wenger has offered him a new one at the start of the season, Ozil, us yet to extend his stay at the club.

If he does not extend his contract, Ozil might be up for sale this summer and is now attracting interests from China, the new superpower in world football.

It is understood that Arsenal want him to sign a two-year extension but according to reports from the Sun, a couple of Chinese clubs are now ready to pounce on him and are ready to offer him bumper wages.

It is understood that Ozil is the most attractive and popular player in China after former team-mate Cristiano Ronaldo and CSL outfits are ready to offer him £300,000 per week for his services.

Though the new CSL rules restrict overseas players, the clubs in China are adamant that Ozil is the solution and are ready to spend on him.

Do you think Ozil will move to China?
