According to the reports today, West Ham are ready to offer Dimitri Payet a new contract extension to try and keep him at the club for years to come and fend off interests from Manchester United.
Payet signed a contract extension with the club in March this year putting pen to paper on a contract that sees him earn £125,000 at moment. However, Slaven Bilic is convinced that losing him could be disastrous and is ready to offer him yet another contract rise in days to come.
It is revealed that the 29-year has been told that he will get a lucrative pay rise on his already ludicrous contract if he continues to score goals, which will make him the highest paid player for the Hammers ever in their history.
Jose Mourinho will surely try to lure him in January and if West Ham want Payet to stay, they have to act quickly and convince him that the Olympic Stadium is the best place for his football.
