Manchester United Could Lose Ibrahimovic This Summer!! 1

It has been an eventful season for Manchester United, who have now played more games than any other club in the Premier League.

The Red Devils are currently active in the all the 4 competitions, having qualified for the finals of the League Cup, managing to get into the quarter-final of the FA Cup, putting a step in the Round of 16 of the Europa League and standing just 2 points off a place in the top-4 in the Premier League.

There have been a number of star performers for the club this season but one Zlatan Ibrahimovic has just been outstanding.

Already being touted as the best free transfer ever, Zlatan is currently the top goal scorer for Manchester United in every competition.

In 37 games in all competitions, Zlatan has 24 goals and 5 assists, making him one of the most productive forward, not just in England, but also in Europe.

He joined the squad at the Old Trafford in the summer from French giants PSG for free, on a yearlong contract but his performances this season have seen Mourinho offer him a contract extension.

However, reports from the Sun now claim that Zlatan is not ready to extend his contract, at least not yet.

The Swedish international will turn 36 this October and the next season could easily be his last as a professional footballer.

With no chance of winning the English league this season, Zlatan might be tempted to stay and try for another yet but the report from the English media outfit reveals that he wants assurances of Champions League football next season, before putting pen to paper.

Manchester United are currently in the 6th place in the points table in the Premier League, 2 points behind Arsenal in the 4th place, and have a decent chance of qualifying for the UCL.

They are also in the Round of 16 of the Europa League but Zlatan wants to sign an extension only if United are playing in the Champions League this season.

Italian outfit Napoli, a couple of Chinese clubs and a couple of MLS clubs are interested in his signature but it is understood that Mourinho and some of the senior players in the squad are trying to convince him to stay either way.

Zlatan is yet to win the elite title and would want to at least have a shot at it in his final year so chances are slim that United can keep hold of him if they fail to qualify for the UCL.

Where do you think Zlatan will play next season?
