The summer transfer window after the end of the current Premier League season is set to be one of the biggest in recent times with a number of top clubs in Europe looking at an overhaul of their squad.
The biggest names in world football could make a move to different clubs and this will give fans around the world plenty of rumors to enjoy the summer without any football.
And the latest rumor linking a big player is coming out of Real Madrid.
Star skipper Sergio Ramos has been subject to a number of transfer speculations even before the start of the current season and recent reports suggest that he will once again be in the spotlight in the transfer window before the start of the next season.
The Spanish international is contracted with the Los Blancos up until 2020 but there have been many reports in the past suggesting that he will make a move this summer.
The Daily Express revealed in a recent report that the Real Madrid star along with his team mate Cristiano Ronaldo are unsettled at the Bernabeu and want to move out of the club at the end of the season.
It is also reported that both the players have spoken the president of the club Florentino Perez about their futures and this uncertainty has seen English clubs Chelsea and Manchester United scout for the 30-year old.
Manchester United have continuously been linked with the Spaniard over the last couple of seasons while the Blues want Ramos to replace the outgoing veteran John Terry at the heart of the defense at the Stamford Bridge.
Chelsea have appointed Antonio Conte as their manager for the next season and the Italian who favors a 3 at the back formation has reportedly identified the Spaniard as the right man to lead Chelsea next season.
The Italian manager is so keen on getting his man that he has already tabled a £64m bid for the player for a potential move to the club this summer according to the Don Balon.
This will leave the Old Trafford outfit in a bit of a hurry if they are to get their man but it is to be confirmed by the Spanish giants that Sergio Ramos is up for sale this summer.
The club skipper has been instrumental in almost every successful season since his first at the club and is an integral part of the history at the Bernabeu.
But with the likes of Raphael Varane already in the squad, the 30-year old might want to make a move to the Premier League for a new adventure.
If Mourinho takes over Manchester United, his relationship with Ramos might help him lure the player but at the moment, if Ramos is leaving Real Madrid, Antonio Conte will get his hands on his man.
Do you think Ramos will leave Real Madrid?
