Manchester City striker Sergio Aguero is happy to stay with his current club and will snub Real madrid as he can fulfill his Champions League dreams with the Citizens.
The 27-year old is heavily linked with a move to Real Madrid in the recent weeks with Real Madrid president Florentino Perez, a huge admirer of the Argentine striker and would love to sign him under their Galactico policy.
But Aguero, Premier League top scorer last season, said : “The only reason a player should leave a club is to achieve things, and I can achieve all I want to at City.”
“I can’t stop rumours. I can’t stop people writing things. But what I can do is repeat what I have already said, and that is that I’m very happy at Manchester City. I have had success over the last four seasons there and I’m hungry for a lot more.
“Of course the Premier League is a big priority and we want to win it back, but it is a big dream to win the Champions League at City as well.”
The 27-year old is also confident that City will sign some world-class players this summer as they look to spend over £150 million this summer on their transfer targets but says his friend Leo Messi will not be one of them.
“Each summer, City will add some of the best players in the world to the team,” he said. “That is the way of the clubs who want to win titles. I’m sure that this summer will be the same. I would have loved City to sign Leo. He is my good friend and the best in the world, but his loyalty is so firm to Barcelona and you have to respect that.”
Manchester City fans would be happy to see their star committing his future to the club as they look to dominate Premier League next season.
