Lucas Piazon says he wants to play for Chelsea but also wants a decision made on his future in the summer.
The 23-year-old joined the Blues in 2011 but has made just three appearances for the first team.
Piazon has been sent on loan to the likes of Malaga, Vitesse Arnhem and is currently at Fulham.
The midfielder has proved to be a key player for the Championship side as they attempt to earn promotion to the Premier League.
And Piazon is happy to stay at Craven Cottage until the end of the season.
But he admits his goal of playing Chelsea is far from certain.
Piazon told the London Evening Standard: “I came to Europe to play for Chelsea so if one day they want me there, I would be very happy. I also have a feeling that I’d like to stay longer in one place.
“For example, I’d like to come back from my summer holidays knowing where I will be playing in the season ahead. Could that be at Fulham? I am having a good time and I was happy to extend until the end of the season.
“We are doing a good job, not far from the top six. We can dream of promotion.”
So far, whilst playing for the Cottagers, Piazon has made 17 appearances and has scored 4 goals.
His loan spell was scheduled to end but the two clubs involved have agreed to extend Piazon`s loan spell until the end of the season.
Chelsea have an astonishing 38 players out on loan right now. And in pre-season at the club’s Cobham training complex, the loan army even have their own squad, coach and friendlies.
Eddie Newton and Paulo Ferreira take charge of them, arranging behind-closed-doors matches for onlooking scouts to run the rule over their talent.
The group stay in touch via a WhatsApp group, and they do receive regular contact from the Blues via emails from Newton.
