Breaking: Alexis Sanchez Receives Massive £400,000-per-week Offer To Leave Arsenal

Things are looking good for Arsenal right now.

The Gunners haven’t lost since the opening weekend of the season against Liverpool and find themselves one point off Chelsea at the top of the Premier League.

They have also safely progressed into the last-16 of the Champions League by winning their group.

And two players have been influential in their fine form this season – Mesut Ozil and Alexis Sanchez. Both of them are currently in the form of their life right now and have scored a combined 20 goals this season.

However, despite their incredible form, there’s a concern regarding the futures of the duo. That’s because both Ozil and Sanchez have just 18 months remaining on their current deal and are yet to agree an extension with the club.

Reports this week suggested that the pair wanted parity with the league’s highest-paid player. That is currently Paul Pogba, who is earning £290,000-per-week – more than double what Ozil and Sanchez are picking up at the Emirates.

While Ozil can have every right to demand more money with his performances this season, Sanchez’s demands have just been helped out by the Chinese Super League.

Clubs in the far east have offered him £400,000-per-week to leave Arsenal, something that the Chilean will no doubt use to lever him a massive new deal at the club.

That’s according to the Mirror, who claim that Arsenal are well aware of the interest from Chinese clubs. However, with Arsene Wenger often insisting that his club don’t pay over the odds in terms of wages, they now have a very big decision to make.

While it’s unlikely that Sanchez would be tempted by a move to China, he will no doubt be knocking on Wenger’s door asking for a wage similar to what he’s been offered from the Super League.

But will Wenger give in and break the bank to keep him at the club?

On Monday, Wenger suggested that Ozil and Sanchez shouldn’t be thinking about how much they could earn elsewhere, because they are already pocketing a ridiculous amount of money.

“Well, I would like to say the luxury of the modern game should be it’s not only about the money, because the players make anyway wherever they play good money at this level,” Wenger said.

“I believe personally, and maybe I am a bit naive, that it’s more about getting to meet the player’s needs. That’s more about the way the club has values, the way the club has ambition, the way the club respects the players.

“So I think, for me, that is more important nowadays and an important ingredient for every player to consider. The money is good everywhere for everybody.”

But if Sanchez has the chance to earn double the amount he is currently earning elsewhere, could you blame him for being tempted by money?

After all, money talks.
