Barcelona are reportedly eyeing Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp as a potential replacement for boss Luis Enrique.
Spanish news outlet Don Balon has reported that the Barcelona boss might quit Nou Camp after the end of this season in search of a new challenge and the Liverpool boss is on a three-man shortlist to take charge of the Catalan giants. The report claimed that Enrique’s current contract expires on June 30 next year and his future at the club is still uncertain. As a result, the club is already working to find a suitable replacement for the man who led Barca to two La Liga and one UEFA Champions League titles.

Liverpool boss can be an apt replacement for the Spaniard after his sensational work at his former club Borussia Dortmund. He won two Bundesliga titles with the German outfit and also led them to Champions League final in 2012-13. His stature has now grown even more after his phenomenal work at Anfield. After taking charge of the Merseyside club in 2015, Klopp led them to League Cup and Europa League finals in his first season. His team has started the new season in an emphatic manner and are currently leading the Premier League after 11 games.
However, it will not be easy for the Spanish giants to secure the services of the Liverpool man who has expressed his desires of staying at the club for a long time.
He signed a new and improved six-year contract in July and said:“We are very much at the beginning of our journey. I am the first to recognise that with this great commitment comes a great responsibility.
“There is much to do and much to achieve and we look to do this by being the most completely together group anywhere in the world.”
