Chelsea and Arsenal can reignite their interest in highly-rated Brazilian forward Gabriel Barbosa as according to reports, Inter Milan are planning to loan out the youngster in January transfer window.

After arriving at San Siro in a stunning £26million deal from Santos, the striker has made a tough start to life with the Serie A giants. The 20-year old fell out of favor with former Inter boss Frank de Boer and has played just 16 minutes this season as a substitute. Reports are suggesting that new boss Stefano Pioli is ready to send the Brazilian out on loan and CalcioNews24 has reported that both the London clubs might pounce on the opportunity to secure the signings of the talented striker.

The youngster was a subject of huge interest from several European giants before signing for the Serie A outfit.Santos president Modesto Roma even confirmed that he had held discussions with Chelsea, as well as Manchester United in the summer.

“There weren’t offers, but we did talk about partnerships. I talked to Manchester United, Chelsea, and Atletico Madrid,” Roma said.

Meanwhile, English news outlet The Sun has reported that the English clubs will face a stiff competition from Spanish giants Barcelona who are also keen on signing the striker.
