Diego Costa could be heading back to Madrid, but this time to Real Madrid as the news of Chelsea offering Diego Costa to the Spanish giants has emerged in Spanish media.
Spanish journalist Francois Gallardo is convince Chelsea have offered Diego Costa to Real Madrid. Gallardo was speaking to Spanish news outlet El Chiringuito and confirmed that Costa’s spell in England could soon come to an end.
Costa lit up the English football by scoring 19 goals in 37 appearances in his very first season and was the biggest reason for Chelsea to win their first premier league title in 5 seasons.
However, Costa has failed to adapt to life in England and has become home sick. Costa is yet to learn the English language which has been seen as the major reason for his delayed treatment to the injuries.
It has not been easy for Costa since he has split with his girlfriend and had to make several trips to Spain to reconnect with his family and friends.
Costa joined the Blues only a year earlier for a whopping 32million fee and now could be heading back to Spain with Jose Mourinho looking to recoup most of the transfer fee for the Spanish striker.
Mourinho earlier highlighted the point that Costa needs to rest his mind as well as his body saying, “Diego was feeling tired, so we had to protect him.”
