Breaking: Eden Hazard To Leave Chelsea, But Is It January Window?? 1

It’s been a good month for Eden Hazard. Not only has he helped Chelsea establish themselves as genuine title contenders once again, but he’s been rewarded for his own excellent form with the Premier League’s Player of the Month award for October.

Having endured a difficult time last season, the Belgian international now looks to be back to his best and is enjoying terrorising Premier League defences.

However, despite alluding to the fact that he wasn’t going to leave over the summer, having spoken with new manager Antonio Conte before he took the reigns at Stamford Bridge, he’s hinted at a possible leaving date.

Despite struggling to hit the goalscoring trail last season, Hazard claims that Conte told him that he saw him as a goalscorer.

And the 25-year-old has repaid the manager’s faith by hitting seven goals already this term.

“He expects a lot of us, he’s demanding, and he never stops wanting more from his players,” Hazard told The Guardian.

“But when you’re in his side winning matches every week, it’s obvious his methods work.”

However, Hazard hinted that he could look to leave west London if and when the club finally retains the Premier League title.

“I made clear I had no intention of leaving after such a poor year,” he said.

“I didn’t want to go out like that. If I ever leave, it’ll be after winning a championship. You need to go out on a high so that people remember you for the right reasons.”

If Hazard were to move on, though, where would he go?

In the not too distant past he’s been linked with a move to Spanish giants Real Madrid in a £35million deal.

But earlier in the year Italian champions Juventus were also credited with an interest, while the player himself had previously claimed that he would find it difficult to turn down an offer from Paris Saint-Germain.

And while he’s already familiar with the French league, a move to Real Madrid would undoubtedly be the bigger draw. With an ageing Cristiano Ronaldo on the books, Los Blancos will need to replace him sooner or later.

But Chelsea fans will just be hoping that one turn will deserve another…
