Breaking: Fabregas Takes Final Call On His Chelsea Future, This Will End All Speculations

Chelsea are simply flying at the moment.
After an indifferent start, Antonio Conte’s men have raced to the summit of the Premier League with a truckload of goals in tandem. However, one player who hasn’t played a part in this spike in form has been Cesc Fabregas.
The Spanish midfielder has fallen from a first team regular to a man struggling to get the nod in cup competitions. In light of this, Fabregas has made a big decision over his future.
Ever since a dream first season that saw him win the league and bag 18 assists, Fabregas has struggled at Stamford Bridge.
The ex-Arsenal man was one of the biggest flops in what proved the worst ever defence of a Premier League title last season. Furthermore, the arrival of Guus Hiddink did little to convert his fortunes as it did for many others.
Conte hasn’t been one for forgiveness either. In fact, Fabregas’ only start in the league this season came in the 3-0 clattering at the Emirates.
The 29-year-old did prick up ears with a brace against Leicester City in the EFL Cup, yet any hype emanating from that performance has since simmered out.
In light of this relentless benching, rumours have been frequented that Fabregas could be leaving as early as January. Interestingly also, Manchester City and a potential reunion with Pep Guardiola is proving a popular suggestion.
However, according to the Daily Mail, Fabregas isn’t budging.
This is despite the fact the same publication believes he will be made available for a loan departure in the winter. Moreover, it is also reported that the Blues could be in for Javier Pastore and Marcelo Brozovic as possible replacements.
Nevertheless, Fabregas is thought to be very much settled in London with his wife Daniella Semaan. In addition, the pair are expecting their third child soon.
Consequently, the 29-year-old is willing to bite his tongue and fight for a place at Chelsea for the sake of his family and avoiding a potential string of loans.
Knowing the quality the ex-Barcelona man possesses, though, Fabregas will only be able to turn down the hoards of clubs that come in for him for so long. After all, Conte is playing a very risky game with who once proved Chelsea’s top playmaker.
Then again, with the Stamford Bridge side sitting pretty at the top of the table, why change?
