As per sky sports sources, Tom Cleverley is having a medical at Everton as we speak after agreeing a 5-year contract with the Mersyside club.
Cleverley, who was on loan at Aston Villa last season has been told by the manager Louis Van Gaal that, he has no future at the club and he can look for his next club.
Earlier in the year, Manchester United legend Paul Scholes had predicted that Celverly would end up playing under Roberto Martinez at Everton.
Cleverley had previously worked under Roberto Martinez during his loan spell with Wigan where he forced his way in to United’s playing 11 after enjoying a decent season under Martinez. Cleverley was tipped to be the long-term replacement for Paul Scholes at Manchester United.
However, in last 24 months, Cleverley has been battling with his form and fitness and perhaps a new challenge would inspire him to achieve greater feats in his career.
Cleverley, 25 still has a long career ahead of him and Roberto Martinez already understand his playing style which would aid him to regain his best form once again.
Cleverley is all set to join Everton on 1st July once the transfer window officially opens. Everton will announce the signing in coming few hours.
