Manchester United striker Javier Hernandez believes he could well play for Manchester United next season despite Real madrid rejected to sign him after an impressive loan spell.
The 27-year old has been sent on loan to Real Madrid last summer as he is considered surplus to the requirements. Manchester United have brought Falcao in last season on loan, but the player have failed miserably for the Red Devils.
Javier Hernandez is believed to be not in Louis van Gaal’s plans last season and hence was offloaded to Real Madrid. But the Mexican international hopes that he get more chances under van Gaal next season to prove his worth to the side.
He said: “I think I will have chances to play at United. There will be a Champions League qualifier, a lot more games and I think that there will be more opportunities,’ said Hernandez.
“The circumstances were different last summer. Van Gaal arrived and wanted to restructure the squad – make it smaller.
“There was no European competition and he wanted to concentrate on the league and maybe he didn’t want so many players because they were not going to be able to play.”
Javier Hernandez has scored 9 goals during his loan spell at Real madrid despite getting very few chances towards the end of the season.
