Mohamed Farah, also known as Mo Farah, has claimed that he is interested in working with Arsenal and has told that he wants to become the fitness coach at the club.
He is one of the best runners in Britain as he has recently won gold medals for Great Britain in both 5000 meters and 10000-metre marathon race in the recently concluded Rio Olympics.
The 33-year Olympian is not only interested in sprinting as he expressed his desire to work at Arsenal as he is a huge fan of the game. The player has built on his strengths as he grew to be one of the best runners in the globe.
Farah is one of the best runners in the world and has been a great fan of the Gunners as he has been a huge fan for the club since his childhood. He has moved to the United Kingdom from Somalia in 1991 and has become a British citizen later.
“One thing I really love is football and I have a good relationship with Arsenal,” Farah told the Sunday Times.
“I started supporting them when I first came to Britain as a kid. I liked the way they played. They also had a lot of players from African backgrounds.
“One day, I’d love to be able to work for them, maybe as a fitness coach. I’m a big believer in what the body’s capable of with proper training.”
Definitely, it would be an exciting thing for Arsenal fans as the player has worked hard to manage his fitness levels as it takes a lot of stamina and fitness to reach the status of the elite in the marathon races. The addition would help Arsenal players improve their fitness levels if the 33-year old decides to take up the job in the future.
