Bundesliga star heading to Old Trafford after United scout was pictured with player’s agent
Manchester United have edged closer to signing the highly rated Roberto Firmino from Hoffenheim after one of the chief United scouts was pictured sitting with Firmino’s agent during Hoffenheim’s 3-0 win over Hamburg.
Firmino is tipped for a move to Premier League next season with the likes of Liverpool, Arsenal and Tottenham all eyeing for his signature but United have raced ahead in the lead with a possible £15 million deal agreed over the weekend.
Firmino is an attacking midfield player who can play on either flanks or centrally. The Brazilian possesses an eye for Goal as he has cored 6 goals in the current Bundesliga season. Firmino has 3 assists to his name as well.

Firmino moved to Bundesliga in 2011 from his native club Tombense for a fee of £4 million. Since his move, the Brazilian has grown to be one of the most talented young prospects in the game and with Manchester United looking to buy potent wingers, Firmino looks like the best option for the red devils.
Angel Di Maria looks set to leave Old Trafford next season and Van Gaal is moving swiftly to cover for the win positions at United. Along with Roberto Firmino, a move for Dutch sensation Memphis Depay is eyed as well.
Both, Firmino and Depay wil cost United around £35 million in total but Van Gaal will have one of the best young wingers in the world at the moment and the much yearned excitement and thrill factor could be re-installed at Old Trafford by signing these two world class talent.
