Chelsea star midfielder Cesc Fabregas has completed one year at Chelsea and have already become one of the top stars at the club. The Spanish star reveals that it is because of his hard work he got to the top.
The Spanish international has joined Barcelona at 10 years and moved to Arsenal at the age of 16 making his first Premier League appearence back in 2003. The player then moved back to Barcelona before moving to Chelsea last summer.
The 28-year old has been in sensational form under Jose Mourinho and says his hard work has taken him to top.
“I trained everywhere I could. I had my school team, I used to play with my dad, I used to go to my town’s club to play on the pitch,” explained Fabregas.
“If you really love it and it’s your passion, and you want to achieve what you are doing, you will make it happen.”
He already broke various records earlier as he became the youngest Spanish player to feature in a World Cup match. He recollects his schedule when he was 10 and says how he worked his way through.
“When I was ten I signed for Barcelona and that’s when things started to get more complicated. My town was one-and-a-half hours away, and we had to drive after school at 5pm, train at 7, finish at 9, arrive home at 11 and then do the study and wake up at 7.
“My week was full and at the weekend we had games. It was six tough years before I joined Arsenal, but everything was worth it.”
