After suffering a 2-0 defeat at the hands of Tottenham Hotspur in the Premier League, Chelsea returned to winning ways with a comfortable 4-1 win over League One side Peterborough in the third round of FA Cup.
The Premier League leaders were pushed on the backfoot straightaway as Lee Angol threatened to take the lead for his team with a close-range header which was saved by Asmir Begovic. The visitors again tested Chelsea’s defence in early stages of the game as Nichols saw his shot put wide by Gary Cahill before Ryan Tafazolli also nodded past the post from a corner.
The Blues slowly found their rhythm and took the lead in the 18th minute Pedro found the back of the net with a curled finish. Michy Batshuayi then doubled Chelsea’s lead in the 43rd minute before Willian put the game to bed by scoring seven minutes after the restart. Tom Nicholls reduced the deficit for the visitors in the 70th minute only to see Pedro restoring the three-goal advantage fifteen minutes from time.

Conte back out for the second half in a white waterproof jacket and a Chelsea baseball cap. Tony Pulis would be proud
