The January transfer window this season has not yet sparked into life as clubs from around Europe are cautious in their spending spree this month.
The clubs in the Premier League, that broke quite a few records in the summer, have also been painfully inactive in the transfer window and with just over 10 days left, there does not seem to be a star signing coming up before the deadline day.
However, there have been plenty of rumors linking European giants with some star players and once such story running today will excite Manchester United and Chelsea fans.
According to Spanish website Don Balon, has today ran a piece on Atletico Madrid’s Yannick Carrasco.

The Belgian winger has been in sublime form this season in front of goal for the Spanish outfit, scoring 10 goals and picking up 3 assists in 25 games so far this season.
He is integral to the plans of the manager at the Vicente Calderon but a number of top class European sides are already planning a move for him at the end of the season.
The 23-year old is one of the most exciting talents in world football at the moment and the likes of Bayern Munich, Juventus and Manchester City are also interested in his signature.
But the reports from the Spanish website suggest that Chelsea and Manchester United have made official enquiries of his availability in the summer.
According to the story, Carrasco’s agent Christophe Henrotay has informed Atletico that he has received multiple offers for his client and that his client might be up for a move at the end of the season.

Carrasco signed a new deal in October last year and is set to stay at the club till 2022 and any potential suitors will have to reach his valuation of £86m to even get his parent club talking.
But none of the clubs interested in him will budge with the figure and if he continues to impress for the rest of the season, he is surely going to be snapped up by some of the biggest clubs in Europe.
Chelsea are desperate for attacking additions and might use Diego Costa as a part of the deal for Carrasco while Jose Mourinho is impressed by the 23-year at Atleti and wants him to join the club at the Old Trafford.
At 23, Carrasco has a long career ahead of him and he will have to chose wisely to try and keep himself competing regularly at the highest level.
Do you think Chelsea or Manchester United can land Carrasco at the end of the season?
