Jose Mourinho will not be a happy man after the Manchester City game as his team was out played completely. They started poorly and went on to lose 3-0 in a thrilling victory for the Citizens. This game has raised a lot of doubts in the minds of the supporters and some have already taken it to social media to express their feelings about the squad.

With less than two weeks to go for the end of the transfer window this season, we have bought you an article to help understand what Chelsea and Mourinho can do in the rest of the transfer window to bring his season back on track.

Mourinho has seen his club participate in a lot of activity already in the market. He has shown faith in the Manchester United flop Radamel Falcao and bought him to the bridge. He has also bought in Baba Rahman from FC Augsburg in a  £17.7 million deal. But the club has lost two of its iconic players in Petr Cech and Didier Drogba. They bought in Asmir Begovic from Stoke in place of Cech and he has already impressed everyone in his first match against City.

However, the biggest news for the fans has been the reports that Barcelona star Pedro is undergoing a medical at the Stamford Bridge. Chelsea who lacked a bit of bite in the attacking half of the field in the first two games will welcome Pedro with a huge relief. This has made the squad stronger and deeper and gives the manager some extra options.

But they still have a bit to do in the transfer market as injuries can take toll on the players in the latter half of the season. Mourinho has already experienced it in the previous season and will want to have a solid backup in almost every position on the field.

Cahill, Zouma and Terry have not looked comfortable at the back in the two games and Mourinho badly wants to sign Everton start John Stones to strengthen the back line. Stones has been terrific for the Toffees and has shown great strength at the back. He will be a much needed addition for the Blues who seemed the best defensive team last season.

The team also lacks a bit of depth and quality in the mid-field. Oscar, Ramires, Willian and Fabregas have all been successful but at times look predictable. Though Cuadrado looked bright, he needs to settle in and it looks like they will need a quality mid-fielder who can control the tempo of the game alongside Hazard and Pedro if signed. Costa, Remy and Falcao provide enough fire power and Mourinho will not think about adding any more in that area.

However, the departure of Fillipe Luiz to Atletico Madrid leaves the club a bit short at the wing back positions. Ivanovic looked lethargic and seemed to be low on confidence. They do not have a quality replacement on either sides and the manger will want to take a look at the issue.

Chelsea have suddenly dropped the level and intensity of their game in a matter of three months. They have gone from lifting the trophy to trying to find a victory. However, these are still early stages in the season and they have plenty of time to get back to the top. Make sure you follow our website and stay close to your team.
