Napoli defender Kalidou Koulibaly’s agent, Bruno Satin, has confirmed that the player is keen to leave the Serie A and has admitted that Premier League clubs Chelsea and Everton are keen to sign the talented centre-back.
However, he also made sure that the player will not sign for Juventus as Napoli are keen to avoid offloading the defender to their direct rivals.
New Chelsea manager Conte is keen to add more talent to his central defense going into the new season. Everton are also looking to sign Kalidou Koulibaly as the future of Stones remains unclear as Manchester City is tipped to sign the English international by the end of the transfer window.
The agent has also confirmed that the 25-year old is not going to sign a contract extension with Napoli.
‘I was in Dimaro on Saturday and we discussed a contract renewal,’ Satin told Radio CRC. ‘However, we are not at the point of reaching an agreement. The desire of the player is to leave the club, not renew.
‘We are told by the club that he is a great player but from the renewal on offer, we don’t see this.
‘Last year they wanted to sell him, stating he was not focused enough, but then last season he has shown all his quality.
‘To the fans I say stay calm because he won’t be joining Juventus. Chelsea and Everton are still interested as they are both searching for a central defender of his quality.’
