Chelsea fixtures 2022/23 Season – After a forgettable campaign last season, Chelsea will be eyeing a strong start to the upcoming Premier League season.
The Blues finished third in the Premier League last season but that does not tell the complete picture. Chelsea’s struggle in the latter half of the season made it clear that they need to improve to challenge Liverpool and Manchester City for the title.
Chelsea were in the title race after a good start to the 2021/22 season but they could not do it for long. Their season was also rocked by the incidents that took place away from the football pitch.
Romelu Lukaku’s struggles in front of the goal and his controversial interview and the sanction on former owner Roman Abramovich affected Chelsea’s season. Abramovich later parted ways with the London-based outfit before American businessman Todd Boehly purchased the club.
Chelsea fixtures 2022/23 Season: Full Premier League Schedule
Chelsea will be seeking a fresh start to the 2022/23 season after their forgettable and controversy-filled campaign last season. Thomas Tuchel’s men will open their 2022/23 season with a trip to Goodison Park on 6th August.
Home side Everton beat them in each of the last four league meetings at this venue. It will be followed by a tough trip to Tottenham Hotspurs. After the trip to White Hart Lane, Chelsea will lock horns against Leeds and Leicester City.
Liverpool will visit them on 18th September in another big game. Chelsea start the new year with a trip to Etihad in a huge clash with Manchester City. They will be playing against all of the top six teams at Stamford Bridge in the first part of the season.
The end of the season won’t be an easy ride for the Blues either. They will be playing against Arsenal, City and Newcastle in the concluding five games.
