Chelsea captain John Terry has confirmed that he will have an MRI scan on the ankle injury he suffered against Swansea City at Liberty Stadium.
The 35-year old has taken his Instagram account to confirm about his scan as he is set to undergo an MRI scan to know the extent of the injury he has suffered. John Terry is one of the key personnel for new manager Antonio Conte in defense as Terry fell to the ground with pain on final whistle at Liberty Stadium on Sunday.
“Ice machine on watching MNF ⚽️❄️ Having an MRI Scan in the morning to find out the extent of my injury,” he wrote in his post last night.

The Blues are already in a defensive crisis despite signing David Luiz and Marcus Alonso on deadline day as they are keen to add defensive players to their roster with Martin Caceres one of the most linked players in the coming days.
The injury to John Terry is a huge blow for the club as the Blues need to work hard in the coming weeks with very little options in defense.
Chelsea are set to host Liverpool in a high profile game this weekend and if John Terry is not in full fitness ahead of the game then manager Conte should look to David Luiz who will be making his first appearance for the club since his return to Stamford Bridge.
The 28-year old is keen to prove a point with his return but the loss of John Terry who is the leader of the side would be a huge blow for Chelsea going into the game against their title rivals. With Manchester City ahead of Chelsea by two points, the Blues are under pressure to win the game against Liverpool to keep up in the title chase but the task would be more difficult without Terry.
