Chelsea To Lock Horn With Manchester Giants For ‘Next Luis Suarez’ 1

Chelsea have reportedly joined a long queue of clubs looking at Uruguayan hotshot Joaquin Ardaiz.

Ardaiz, dubbed the ‘next Luis Suarez’ mainly because he’s a decent striker from Uruguay, has made a stunning start to his career at Danubio.

The 18-year-old scored twice against Ecuador in the South American Under-20s Championship final earlier this month and will travel to the Under-20s World Cup in South Korea in May.

But The Sun believe Ardaiz will already have a new club by then, with Chelsea, both Manchester clubs, Barcelona and Sporting Lisbon all either interested or already in talks.Image result for Joaquin Ardaiz

Ardaiz, who is rated at £25m, said: “If it is my destiny I’d love to play in the top leagues.”

Premier League clubs have been given a boost in their pursuit of the attacking sensation as he has an English agent, with Chelsea reportedly in pole position.

Ardaiz’s comparisons with Suarez began when he was seen fighting during a mass brawl against Uruguayan side Liverpool last year.

His estimated price tag means he’ll need to be granted a visa by the FA to play in England.
