Chelsea make huge bid for EURO16 winning midfielder

Antonio Conte, the former Italian boss, who will start his first season in the Premier League with Chelsea this weekend wants to go into the new season with as strong a team as possible.
The manager has bought in the likes of N’ Golo Kante and Michy Batshuayi to the club on big money deals and is still in the market for additions that can further strengthen his squad.
This has seen the club stay active in the transfer market and have been linked with a move for some of the best players in Europe.
And in what come as a shocking news, the Blues have reportedly made a big money bid for EURO winning Portuguese midfielder.
Joao Mario, the Sporting Lisbon star was superb in the EURO at France with his national team and has been linked with a move to a number of clubs including the likes of Liverpool in the summer transfer window.
However, recent reports have now suggested that Chelsea have officially made an astounding £39m bid for the midfielder to lure him to the Bridge this summer.
It is revealed that Inter Milan have also made a similar bid for the midfielder along with an extra £4m bonuses for the 23-year old.
The report also revealed that the player is leaning on a move to Chelsea and that the club are also ready to sell as the Premier League outfit is ready to pay a larger sum of money initially.
Liverpool, the other club interested in his signature are ready to meet the valuation and are ready to offer Mario Balotelli, the Italian misfit in a part deal for the Portuguese midfielder. However, Sporting are reportedly not interested in such a deal with the Reds.
It is understood that Mario is currently fully dedicated for Sporting’s domestic season ahead but a move away from the club was not ruled out.
