Victor Mosses has revealed Chelsea is a ‘happy camp’ under ‘unique and caring’ boss Antonio Conte.
And midfielder Moses has revealed the turn around in fortunes at Stamford Bridge is due to Conte’s compassionate approach to coaching – something that wasn’t evident under Jose Mourinho.
“He’s very different because he came to the club and showed us it’s about more than football – he cares about the players individually,” Moses told The Sun.
“He wants to know what we are eating and he always wants us in the gym to prevent us from getting injured.
“He’s a very unique and a different manager from the other managers because he’s passionate and loves the game as well.
“Everyone is amazingly happy, everyone is willing to play for the manager and they are all working extra hard to make sure we win games.
“If you see what happened last season, the players obviously don’t want that to happen this season.
Meanwhile, once again Diego Costa turned out to be Chelsea’ savior. Two goals in Sunday’s 2-2 draw at the Liberty Stadium, his second an acrobatic 81st-minute equalizer, saved his team from what would have been embarrassment against Swansea, whose two goals both resulted from Chelsea defensive meltdowns.
Chelsea manager Antonio Conte was a frantic, super-animated figure on the touchline as his team surrendered their 100 percent Premier League record.
This was a result that compounded Manchester City’s position at the top of the table. Yet again, Chelsea had needed a rescue job from Costa, who already this season has scored late winners against West Ham and Watford.
But their defensive performance suggested Chelsea have a way to go to have hopes of competing with City.
