Chelsea has received a timely injury boost as their veteran defender John Terry has returned to full training. The Blues captain was out of action since last month after injuring his ankle in the 2-2 draw against Swansea City but now looks fit to return to the playing eleven to bolster Chelsea’s leaky defence.
He was initially expected to remain on the sidelines for only 10 days but failed to recover in time and had to miss big games against Liverpool and Arsenal.

In order to get a taste of lunchtime kick-off, Chelsea boss Antonio Conte made his team train at 12.30am for the game against defending Premier League champions Leicester City on Saturday.
As quoted in The Sun, A Chelsea insider said: “It is a familiarisation process.”
Meanwhile, Conte will look to keep the winning momentum going after registering a 2-0 win against Hull City in their last game after losing two games in a row against Liverpool and Arsenal. The Italian tactician has come under fire after the recent results and Terry’s return will surely be a big boost for him.
Just like the last season, Chelsea’s defence is still their weak link. With Branislav Ivanovic and Gary Cahill completely out of form, the Blues have struggled at the back. The absence of Kurt Zouma has only made the matter worse for them while the arrival of David Luiz and Marcus Alonso have made a little impact of the back four.
In seven games in all competitions, the 2014-15 Premier League champions have conceded 11 goals and have kept a clean sheet on only two occasions. Terry’s return is bound to improve the condition as he is still one of the best centre-backs at the West London club.
Chelsea will miss one of their main players for Saturday’s game as Willian was given leave to return home following the death of his mother.
