Chelsea won their 1st Premier League title in over 5 seasons and Jose Mourinho has once again installed the belief of wanting more success at Stamford Bridge. Chelsea’s current squad is one of the best in the league in terms of starting 11 but their overall squad’s strength is tested during the busy phases of the season.

With a view of retaining their title next season, Chelsea have issued a list of their preferred transfer targets for next season which will insure their title defense next season.

The list carries a quadruple of skilled and talented players which Chelsea are targeting ahead of the next season. Chelsea’s transfer list has Atletico Madrid’s Antonio Griezmann, Lyon’s prolific striker Alexander Lacazette, Getafe’s goalkeeper Vicente Guaita and Southampton’s Toby Alderweireld.

Atletico Madrid are growing wary of Chelsea’s interest in their star forward Griezmann as it is revealed that there is a £43 million buyout clause attached to the French forward and Chelsea have decided to press ahead of the move to bring the Atletcio Madrid player next season.

Chelsea’s Premier League campaign looked to be heading to a rocky phase with constant injuries to their striker Diego Costa this season. Mourinho does not have an able back up in his squad at the moment, thus to sort out the issue, Chelsea have eyed Lyon’s Alexander Lacazette as the ideal striker signing next season. The prolific striker has crossed 30 goal mark this season and is nearing a move to Chelsea next season.

Petr Cech is certain to leave Chelsea next season and Mourinho wants to keep Thibaut Courtious honest in the race to be Chelsea’s #1 Goal Keeper. This is why Chelsea is preferring a move for Getafe’s Vicente Guaita.

Chelsea are unsure about Fillipe Luis at the moment as he could be involved in a swap deal with Atletico Madrid to bring either Griezmann or Koke from next season. Thus, Chelsea are preparing a move for Southampton’s versatile defender Toby Alderweireld, ironically who is on loan from Atletico Madrid as well.

This impressive transfer list would guarantee a Premier League success for the blues next season as well. These targets would require Chelsea to cough-up close to £100 million in transfer fees and based on the success of this season, it should not be a problem for the blues to spend that kind of amount to build their squad.
