Chelsea goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois has revealed striker Diego Costa is more controlled now as far as reacting to defenders’ provocation is concerned. The Spaniard has been the talk for his lack of discipline on the field in the initial weeks of the league this season but has remained a decisive factor with more discipline in the pitch over the recent weeks.
“In the last few games, Diego has controlled himself better when facing provocation from a defender,” Courtois told COPE.
“But Diego is a winner and I always prefer to have a player like that on my team. There was one day [earlier in the season] when he was already on a yellow card, and I had to send him to the dressing room as he was heading to talk to the referee.”
