Former Chelsea manager Andre Villas-Boas has admitted managing the Blues was “too soon” and have also blasted Spurs chairman as an “expert in sacking managers”.
The Portuguese manager has been an instant hit at Porto and has joined Chelsea much like his predecessor Jose Mourinho but has failed in English football as he was eventually sacked by Spurs.
He said: “The Chelsea experience was too much too soon.
“I wasn’t flexible as a manager at that time. I was communicative, but I wasn’t flexible in my approach. At Tottenham, I learnt to be different.”
