Chelsea striker Michy Batshuayi is keen to stay at Stamford Bridge and fight for his place amid speculations of him returning to his former club Marseille on a loan spell till the end of the season.
The new signing has so far has failed to make an impact as Diego Costa is in fine form under Conte which gave the young striker limited chances.
However, according to The Guardian, the player is determined to stay. Conte has spoken highly of Batshuayi when he signed for Chelsea in July and could offer him a few more chances to prove his worth.
“Absolutely I think Michy can make an impact because he is a young player but very strong, with good technique,” the Italian said.
“He uses two feet. He is a great talent. I am very happy that Batshuayi is with us and I know the club bought a great player for the present and the future.”
