Juventus are reportedly planning to offer Chelsea a hefty £29m for Brazilian midfielder Oscar in January.
The 24-year-old Brazilian has really struggled for form this term scoring just one goal in 10 league appearances as the devastated Blues sit just one point above the relegation zone in the Premier League table.
He failed to deliver yet again in their latest defeat to Leicester following a strong Champions League performance against Porto at Stamford Bridge, similar to last season’s hard works as the Brazilian playmaker could be seen running all over the pitch, both in attack and defence.
The defending champions of Serie A have previously also showed interest in Oscar, who joined the Blues in 2012 for a £19.5m contract from Brazilian outfit Internacional.
Now according to Fichajes.net, Juventus will again attempt to move for a deal within weeks as they are keen to step up their game in the second half of the season in a close Serie A fight. If Oscar decides to join the Italian champions, he would partner with on-loan Chelsea winger Juan Cuadrado.
Juan Cuadrado arrived at Stamford Bridge with a lot of potential, but he struggled to adjust with the Premier League’s style of play. Few years ago a promising for Fiorentina, Cuadrado was in the limelight in Serie A as a highly rated hard working player.
But the Colombian didn’t manage to make a quick impact and, as a result, his first team opportunities were all gone. After spending just half a season with the Blues, Cuadrado was loaned out to Juventus.
After a frustrating start to this season, Juventus have managed to turn around their fortune and now just six points behind current league toppers Inter Milan. Massimiliano Allegri’s side have won six consecutive matches and tasted defeat only once in their last ten games, but there are still plenty of improvements Juventus can look for. In fact, it would not be a huge surprise if the Italians dip into the January transfer window as they are desperate to defend their Serie A title.
