Chelsea Star Confirms He Is Not Leaving, But Antonio Conte Keen To Offload Him 1

Antonio Conte has done a decent job at the Stamford Bridge on his debut in the Premier League and was finally able to get his team into the top-4 places after their 5-1 victory over Everton at the weekend.

The manager will be happy with the team’s performances recently and will hope that they can keep up their good work throughout the season.

With a number of costly additions to the squad in the summer, Conte, will know that he has a squad that is not his best and will be looking to let go of a few players in the next couple of transfer windows.

One such player who might be moving away from the Bridge in January is Spanish midfielder Cesc Fabregas.

The former Arsenal and Barcelona man, is one of the most decorated midfielders in the world at football and at 29, he still has a few years of football left in him. He has not been able to impress Conte this season who has decide that there is no place for Fabregas in his squad.

Conte was ready to let him go in the summer and offered him as a part of the deal for some of the top transfer targets and is now ready to push him out of the club.

Recent reports suggested that Conte has put the Spaniard up for sale in January and is also ready to pay a part of his wages if clubs who cannot pay his wages are ready to take him on loan.

It looked like the midfielder had not career at the club anymore with the likes of West Ham United and an unnamed Chinese outfit ready to swoop for him in January.

With loads of experience, there will be no shortage of teams ready to snap Fabregas up but it is now understood that the Spaniard might actually stay at the club and fight for his place.

Arsenal v Chelsea - Premier League

A story run by the Daily Star today has revealed that Fabregas is ready to snub the London outfit and any other club who wants him in January and that he is ready to work hard, impress the manager, and get back into the starting XI at Chelsea.

With just 4 appearances in 11 Premier League games this season, Fabregas has had no regular game time this season and will be desperate to get some under his belt.

But with Chelsea absent in Europe and also knocked out of the League Cup, Fabregas hardly has a chance to get back to regular football.

So it might be productive for him to move away from the club. Do you think Fabregas should stay at Chelsea despite falling down the pecking order for Antonio Conte?
