Swansea are making a loan bid for out-of-favour Chelsea striker Loic Remy. The French forward has played second fiddle to Diego Costa since joining Chelsea, which hasn’t given him enough chances.
As a result of this, other Premier league sides are ready to sign him and along with Swansea, both Crystal Palace and Newcastle United seem to be interested in the striker.
Swansea are currently without a manager and have offered £1million loan fee for the striker, also agreeing to cover the player’s wages. Loic Remy has made just seven Premier league appearances this season and totals 13 across all competitions.

The untapped potential of Loic Remy would favour Swansea’s striking problems as he is sure to be given more chances.
However, with the sacking of Jose Mourinho, the French forward may find some solace in a new manager if he stays at Chelsea.
The Swans are still yet to find a proper replacement for Garry Monk and an official statement says that the club is not in hurry to appoint a new manager.
Alan Curtis is acting as the caretaker manager of Swansea at the moment and the South Wales team is trying to bring ‘El Loco’ to Liberty Stadium.
Marcelo Bielsa has a stupendous reputation of bringing in huge intensity to the club he manages, which is reflected in the high-energy
displays of his former clubs Marseille and Athletic Bilbao.
