Lillee interested in taking Michy Batshuayi on loan for the remainder of the season:
With Diego Costa in supreme form, the Belgium international has struggled to get regular first-team action. The 23-year old has made 11 Premier League appearances for the Blues but is yet to be handed a start in the league and the Daily Mail has claimed that French outfit Lillee are ready to give him a chance to get regular action by taking him on loan for the second half of the season.
However, it is quite unlikely that Antonio Conte will sanction the move. Costa was suspended for the Boxing Day win over Bournemouth, but Conte opted to play Eden Hazard up front. And speaking after the game, he said that the Belgian forward would not be loaned out.
He had said:“We have to continue to work with him every day to try together to improve him.”
