Atletico de Kolkata have faced defending champions Chennaiyin FC in their first game of the third edition of Indian Super League. The hosts have managed to hold their record of not losing to Chennaiyin at home with a thrilling 2-2 draw.
After a exciting but goalless half, both the teams have increased their pressing which led to an exciting second half. Atletico have opened the scoring with an excellent goal from Doutie. However, Chennaiyin have hit back fast as they scored two goals in just three minutes. The inaugural champions however managed a point after winning a penalty in the final minutes of the match.

Looked out of sorts thorughout the game as he was heavily exposed by Atletico attackers especially Doutie.

Has looked decent throughout the game only to concede penalty by committing a foul against Doutie which led to Atletico’s equalizer.

The former French international has looked okay but found containing Postiga difficult as he also managed few tackles.
Wadoo- 7
The right back was very good overall as he managed to keep Hume and Lara at bay for most parts of the game.
Augusto- 6
Was effective but has not had one of his standard performances but has played a more supportive role in the game.
Mulder- 6
He has scored the second goal for Chennaiyin but have looked little off sort while containing Atletico attackers.
Lalpheklua- 6
The striker have not looked brilliant as he had only one shot on target. He has played a good role in the attack moving forward.
Rane- 6
The winger has managed to open the scoring for Chennaiyin but has not been great other than that.
Sahni- 5
The winger has failed to make an impact as he looked woeful in his crossing.
Succi- 6
The Italian has failed to score a goal but has made a couple of decent runs deep into Atletico’s defense.
