Combined XI: Best playing XI of Arsenal and Chelsea for London derby 1

Arsenal and Chelsea are set to fave off against each other in the London derby on Saturday. This is one of the highly anticipated fixtures as two of the English giants and cross city rivals set to lock horns.

Arsenal go into the match on a high after winning three back to back Premier League titles while Chelsea come to the match on a bit of bumpy form after their perfect start to the season.

The two heavyweights of London and England will have to fight out as it proves to be a major game for new Chelsea manager Antonio Conte. Here we look at the combined XI of both Arsenal and Chelsea as we await the London derby.

Petr Cech is set to be ahead of Thibaut Courtois as he takes the place in the combined XI. Laurent Koscielny who have been in terrific form so far will partner the central defense with Chelsea’s Gary Cahill as the duo have shown great temperament in the central defense for their respective sides.

Hector Bellerin has been very impressive and way ahead of his Chelsea counterpart Branislav Ivanovic while Chelsea’s Cesar Azpilicueta has been good in the attack and is placed ahead of Monreal.

The midfield is expected to have Granit Xhaka who have been sensational in the opportunities he got while N’Golo Kante who has been the best central midfielder for the Chelsea will the partnering Xhaka in the central defensive midfield.

Arsenal’s Mesut Ozil gets the nod ahead of Oscar as the German has continued his fine form into the season as his creativity in the final third has really made a difference for the Gunners.

Eden hazard has been in devastating form this season as he looked his former-self after being so poor last season while Alexis Sanchez has been the man for Arsenal when it comes to goal scoring this season. Both the players start on the wings in the combined XI. Diego Costa has been the striker in the league this season as he has already managed five goals in five Premier League games as he is the target man in the lineup.
