French outfit Marseille are the latest to express their interest in signing Manchester United midfielder Morgan Schneiderlin this January, according to reports.
Premier League rivals Everton and West Brom are heavily linked with a move for the French midfielder who have been completely ousted from the first team under Jose Mourinho.
The 27-year old has come to Manchester United as one of the finest in entire league and have played a decent role under former manager Louis van Gaal last season. However, he has failed to replicate the incredible form that he has shown at Southampton prior to the move which prompted Jose Mourinho to drop him to bench.
The Portuguese manager have preferred the likes of Paul Pogba, Ander Herrera, Juan Mata and Michael Carrick ahead of him in the central midfield as he hardly had any chances to prove his worth under Mourinho this season.
He has only played for 238 minutes for the Red Devils across all competitions and Mourinho have admitted that the Frenchman could leave Old Trafford this January.
Marseille are the latest to join the race for the talented midfielder, according to The Sun, while Italian giants Inter Milan are also keen to sign Schneiderlin.
Manchester United are keen to sell him to a club outside Premier League as they not willing to let him leave to join direct rivals in the league. The 27-year old has emerged as a key target for Marseille after the club have decided to give huge funds to manager Rudi Garcia as they are keen to strengthen their squad.
The report also further states that the French club are ready to meet the United’s asking price as the former Saints midfielder is at the top of their transfer list this January. Leaving Manchester United is almost confirmed in case of Schneiderlin, but the club which will sign him is yet to be decided as a host of clubs across Europe are interested in signing him.
