Liverpool have confirmed the exit of Kevin Stewart and Jack Dunn to League two side Burton Albion on loan for rest of the season. The duo had previously spent time with Cheltenham earlier this season.
Liverpool follow the loan exit of Jordan Lussey by letting Stewart and Dunn leave on loan for the season. Stewart and Dunn join Burtion Albion who are well placed to win the League two title this season.
Burtion Albion are being managed by former Chelsea striker Jimmy Floyd Hasslebaink and lead the league two standings by 5 points. Stewart and Dunn are hopeful of getting vital playing time this season before they can be in contention to start in senior side next season.
Kevin Stewart joined Liverpool from Tottenham last season while Jack Dunn has been one of the promising young talents at the clubs, who has previously captained Liverpool’s U-18 side.
Stewart and Dunn would hope to follow the footsteps of youngster Jordan Ibe, who has gone on to establish himself as ne of the regulars for the club after impressing during his loan spell with Derby. Ibe was recalled by Liverpool from his loan spell and since then played as one of the wing-backs in Brendan Rodgers’ side before suffering unfortunate injury.
This should be the challenge for Stewart and Dunn who will leave Liverpool for rest of the season to join Burtion Albion.
