Al Nassr star Cristiano Ronaldo and his partner Georgina Rodriguez were spotted on Tuesday visiting a hospital in Riyadh. The couple’s daughter was reportedly taken in for an appendix surgery, and Ronaldo was present by her side to support her. Ronaldo, who had already lost one of his twins last year, now faces a fresh personal challenge.

Cristiano Ronaldo and his Argentine-born model had a difficult time last year when one of their twins passed, which took a toll on the the Portugal captain. However, it seemed all good for the forward, who left Manchester United last November for Al Nassr in a blockbuster deal. But the surgery of his daughter now poses a new challenge for the couple.

According to sources confirmed by FirstSportz, the medical treatment of Cristiano Ronaldo’s daughter is related to her appendix. Despite this, it is unknown which of the Al Nassr forward’s daughters has been admitted to the hospital. As can be seen in a viral photo of him and his wife within the hospital grounds that has been making the rounds on social media, Ronaldo allegedly visited an unnamed hospital in Riyadh for his daughter’s treatment.

Cristiano has three daughters: Eva, Bella Esmeralda, and Alana Martina. The terrible death of one of their twins last year put the five-time Ballon d’Or winner and Georgina through a difficult period. Meanwhile, Georgina has denied reports that the couple’s relationship is in trouble, after recently rumours spread like a wildfire that the two are staring at a split.

There have been claims that Ronaldo and Georgina, who have been together for about seven years, are going through a hard patch, leading to rumours regarding the condition of their relationship. However, Georgina has since taken to social media to dispel rumours that the pair were having problems. She responded to the reports by referencing Romeo Santos’ song “If I Die” in reaction to people who promote incorrect rumours.

On the other hand, according to Spanish media, Cristiano Ronaldo is desperate to leave Al-Nassr and wants to rejoin former club Real Madrid. That appears to be easier said than done, with Los Blancos president Florentino Perez unwilling to facilitate an emotional reunion with the striker at the Santiago Bernabeu in the near future.

He is only willing to offer him an ambassadorial post with the reigning European champions at the end of his career, which Ronaldo is not interested in at the moment. A world record deal worth £173 million per year landed Ronaldo in Saudi club Al-Nassr, where he had a promising start to his career. Since then, the 38-year-old has scored 12 goals in 15 appearances in all competitions.

However, Ronaldo’s move has not gone as planned, with his Al-Nassr losing its top spot in the Saudi League to Al-Ittihad and Al-Wehda also knocking them out of the King Cup of Champions. He has been seen in heated disputes with his own coaching staff, while manager Rudi Garcia was fired earlier this season after a poor run of form. Meanwhile, Ronaldo has faced calls to be deported after making an obscene gesture as he exited the pitch.
