Fans rushed to reignite the GOAT debate between Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi, after the Portuguese forward scored four goals to lead Al-Nassr to a 4-0 victory over Al-Wehda on Friday. No wonder the fans declared the 38-year-old the ultimate GOAT after his heroics for his new club. Ronaldo had only one goal to his name in three games before starting the Al Wehda game, and ended up having five in four now for Al Nassr.
In the game’s 21st minute, the Portuguese international scored his first goal for the Riyadh-based club, marking the 500th league goal of his career. Nineteen minutes later, he doubled his tally on the night, and eight minutes into the second half, from the penalty spot, he completed his 61st career hat trick. Around the hour mark, Cristiano Ronaldo scored his fourth and final goal, capping off a flawless game for him and his side.

Al-Nassr moved to the top of the Saudi Pro League on goal difference, thanks to the win and flurry of goals from Cristiano Ronaldo. Although they are they are level on points with second-placed Al-Shabab on 37 points, Al Nassr have a game in hand and a win there would move them three clear at the top of the table. Ronaldo’s next target will will be Al Nassr’s February 17 clash against Al-Taawoun.
